4/30 Results

Played 2 $10 SNG's Today placing 2nd in both. I played in one $20 MTT today and got spanked by slowplayed aces. I played a $20 Heads up MTT with 256. I won my first two matches but on the third My KK didn't hold up to a river flush.

Played in the BPT Event at VIPPoker Today. I wasn't getting any cards. I ended up placing 37th out of 118.

Played alot of NL cash game today. I believe I finished up 60 in the cash game. A decent winning day.

Goals; 4/28 & 29 Results; Blogger Poker Tour Final Table

It is time to set some more goals for the month of May. My new goal is to bring my bankroll to $2k by the end of May. I will also need to complete 100 $10 SNG's By the end of May. I will play mostly .25NL and some .5/1 Limit cash games. I will also be playing in all the BluffPT events. I will probably throw in a few low limit MTT's also. I believe this goal can be reached if I focus myself.

It was up and down the last two days. It started off with a PartyPoker Email stating I had a Free $80 sitting in my account. I would have to clear 800 raked hands to keep the comeback bonus. Needless to day I worked it up to 150 at 500 raked hands then the suckouts started to come. I managed to loose a couple buyins and didn't clear the bonus. Really pissed me off because I played 14+ hours tying to clear it. So that consisted on most of my play for the last two days.

I played 5 $10 SNG's making the money on three. I placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for about a $35 profit.

I made the final table of the Blogger Poker Tour event today. This event was six handed and had about 60 entrents. I ended up placing 6th for $25.

So overall for the last couple days I managed a profit of a little over $50.

4/27 BPT Final Table; SNG Stats Published

I managed to make the final table of the Bluff Poker Event Last night. I ended up busting in 8th for a little money and points. I think I am in the top 6 overall now.

I finally finished my 100 SNG's today. I actually played 102 because I didn't realize and opened too many. SNG's were suck out city for me today. Just one of those days where the best cars and 80/20 favorites just aren't winning. I am pleased with my results. I have a 30% ROI and a 45% ITM. Here is a picture of my stats.


After all the play today I ended up about 13 bucks. I would be up over $60 but I ran my AA into 55 in a cash game and he hit a set.

4/26 April $ Challange Met

I will start off by saying I have completed my april challange. Very happy with my progress. I still need 6 SNG to complete my 100. I will do that and set more goals tomorrow.

I had a good day today. I ended up 28 (15 +12.5(bonus) in my cash game. I then played 14 $5 SNG's. I seem to either get 4th or 1st. I am very dissatisfied with my fourth place finishes. Most of them I got all in on the bubble with the best hand but got sucked out on. Overall on my SNG's here are my places for today.

I think my heads up game is really good. Usually when I get into the money I am able to get 1st. I am very happy with that aspect of my game. The bankroll took a nice jump today.

4/25 Results

Getting very close to my goal. I played only cash games a fulltilt today and won close to fourty. I am also working on my bonus there which is $125 released $12.5 at a time. I am about ten hands away from releasing 12.5 more. The next two days I will be playing SNG's exclusively (once I clear that 12.5 bonus). I need about 15 more SNG to complete my 100 $5 Challange. By the time I complete that I will add another leg to my challange which will be to complete 100 $10 SNG's. I will also set a new goal for the new month (Maybe weekly). -Good Luck-

4/24 Review

4/22-4/23

4/22 - I played in some cash games and SNG's Today. I played in 7 more SNG's placing 2nd in one and thrid in two. Overall today I came out even.

4/23 - I played in one three MTT today. One was Tuff's forum freeroll where I didn't place. In the Bluffpoker tour I was pissed when my AA was called by A9o preflop. He hit a four card straight. I also played in another 10 dollar toury cashing for 75 so for the day I am up 65.

4/21 Forth Winning Day

I played both SNG's and Cash Games today. I played 6 Sng's placing 2nd in one and 3rd in two. I came out basically even there. I did decent in my cash games. Overall for the day I made about 20. There is nine days left in my challange to 750 by the end of april. I am getting close to the 100 $5 SNG's, I will post my results when that is complete. I have had four winning days in a row, I hope I can continue this pace. Good luck out there.

4/20 Bluff Poker Tour 4th

I placed fourth in the bluffpokertour event a Poker.com today. I feel good about my play. I went out with a straight vs a flush. It payed $77 and some more needed points. The only problem is the point leader frozenfire finished 2nd to extend the lead.

4/19 Decent Day

I still have limited time to play this week since finals are approaching and I had to work 12hrs the last two days. I did manage to play 8 SNG's today.

4/17 - Roller Coaster Ride

It has been a roller coster ride of a week. I usually don't have this much varience in my game so that tells me that I am not doing something correctly. In all actuality I think I have been playing very well. I lost about $50 today. Basically in two hands. The first I have AA Raise 4x bb -four people call. The flop 4 Q 10 one guy bets, I raise 4 times his bet, he pushes allin, I call. He has QJ. The turn is a Q and I loose one buyin. The second hand I have 10 10 in a family pot unraised. The flop 10 J 5 two spades. I bet the pot trying to chase drawers out, get two callers. The turn another blank, I bet the pot and both call again. The river is a spade completes both guys flushes. At this point I really can't lay down my hand, I have 3 bucks left with a $60 pot. One guy takes it down with K7s.

I believe that if I keep at it these fishers will soon be paying me off like they usually do. It is just the last 3 days they have been hitting every draw they are drawing to against me.

I played three SNG. I placed 3rd in one and busted in the other to. I am probably not going to keep posting the BS hands that I loose to in large raised pots anymore because it just seems repetative. I will keep at it knowing that the varience will spike upwards very soon.

Today was a good day. It feels good to have a strong day right after I set my goals. I Placed 2nd in the Doyle's Room Bluff event making $280 and some much needed points. That put me a little over the $500 Goal I had set.

Cash games haven't been treating me that well lately. I lost another $35 at the 25NL tables. I think I will take a break from these for a little while. I have been running pretty good on SNG's and MTT tournys.

Since I have met my goal I will need to set another one. My new goal is to build my bankroll to 750 by the end of april. All the other limitations still stay the same. I will also cash out $50 to buy pokertracker since I have yet to do that.

I will attempt to post a picture of my SNG stats. I have never put a pic on here so we will see how it goes.

Goals ; 4/15 Results; Blogger Poker Tour

Well I am pissed because I just typed for ever and somehow I lost everyting I was typing. So now I must retype it. Damn that sucks!!!

After reading some other blogs I come to relize that I need to set specific goals for myslef so that I can be pushed and actually keep track of how much I am up and down each day. After a Day like today I realize that I am in need of goals. So here they are. My goal is to make it to $500 by the end of april. I will only play 25NL and $5 SNG's. (I might add a couple $3 rebuy due to the soft play) Once I reach my goal I will set another one. I also will play in the BPT events.


Day of Varience:

I started the day off strong winning a $215 sunday ticket on stars through a $3 rebuy. I was really stoked. I unregisterd and kept the tournament dollars.

I couple hours later I logged back on to play some SNG's and A little 25NL. I played in 6 SNG's and only moneyed in one (actually placing first). What sucks is KK kicked my ass today. I lost two SNG's with KK vs 1010(he flops quads) and KK vs A10, both were allin preflop. The killer of them all is what put me on tilt and eventually costed me a larger chunk of money. The hand is like this. 25NL Cash table. I am in a late position with KK. A very loose player opens fo a $1 one caller, I bump it to $3 they both call. The flop comes 7 9 4 rainbow and a pretty safe flop for me. I bet $3 (maybe my first mistake) and the loose guy calls. The turn comes a 4. So the board is 7 9 4 4, I bet 6 thinking he has just his normal hand. He raises allin (about 10 more) I call. the turn comes a queen. So what does he have - 24!!!! I mean wtf. I reraise his ass preflop bet the flop hard and he f's me like that. Needless to say it put me on tilt

So what do? I move up to the two 50NL games still on tilt thinking "F those 25 tables and them donkss..." So a couple hands in I get AQ in late position I raise to $3 and the BB pushed allin ($15 which he has done multiple times) and I call. What does he have - AJ. Needless to say a J comes on the river and I loose another 15. A couple hands later I get KQd I raise $2, the same guy calls. The flop comes A 9 5 all diamonds. This guy fires a pot sized bet out I raise him he pushes all in. What does he have 99. I am like coo. Then the turn comes a five and now I loose another 30. A few more hands simular to this and I end up loosing a little over $100.

What is stupid is that this always happens to me. Luckily I had the will power to step away and know this wasn't my time. Other times I kept playing and lost alot more. All in all I think this is a learning process. I have to learn that when I take a beat like that to step away. I know I am not playing a my best capability when I am on tilt and I should have just stepped away and slept is off (like my wife told me to). So I must stick to my goals from this day forward and not stray.

Blogger Poker Tour stood me up. They were supposed to have their event on Saturday but they didn't have it (at least to my knowledge). I emailed support, but they haven't responed as of now.

The Bluff Poker Tour stop is at Doyle's Room Sunday. They are adding a $1500 WSOP Sub-event seat to keep it interesting. I am hoping I will start cashing if I want to make a run at taking this whole thing down.

4/14 Another Good day

I played in 13 SNG's Today. I got 3 lst's, 2 2nd's. In my cash game I ended down about 5. So for the day I made a total of about 20.

4/13 Results plus BPT

I had a good day. I placed 2nd in a $5 45-man Turbo for 60. I played 2 other regular 5 dollar sng's and didn't place. I have completed 30 sng's this month. When I get to 50 I will post my results.

I also played in the Bluff Poker Tour event at pokerroom. There was a large turnout of over 600. I played decent was short stacked for a while and worked my way up to 6k when this hand happened. I have over 6k blinds at 300/600 I am in late postion with AA. Guy before me raises to 1200 I go all in he calls. What does he have -KJo-?. Of course he flops the straight and I place 150. Hard to cash with BS hands like that.

4/12 Good Day

Had a good day today. I ended up 20 on my Cash Game. I played in four SNG's. I took two firsts and a third overall I am up 60 for the day. BPT Tounry is Thruday at pokerroom.

I played 10 SNG's today. I started off with 3 fourth places. Two of which I was chip leader and got sucked out on. Then I took a first to make me even. Then I went on another dry spell not cashing in four then hit three ITM in a row. Overall here is what the #'s look like.

Overall I came out about Fifteen up. I broke even in my cash games also. I have downloaded SNG Tracker for keeping track of my SNG stats. I have 28 games loaded into it and have a 48% ITM rating. I will try to knock out some more SNG's tomorrow and probably post a picture of my stats.

4/10 Cap

I played about 3hrs today. I ended up about 20 bucks. I had some ups and downs. I wasn't in the mood to play in a regular $5.00 SNG so I played in a $3.00 turbo, I think I placed 5th. The cash games weren't treating me that great today three times I got QQ and once I got KK every time an A was on the flop. I made most of my money when I hit a set. More to come. I will play some SNG's tomorrow and I have a feeling it will be a good day.

Weekend and BPT # 6

-This weekend was full of ups and downs but overall I finished up about 20. I put in pretty good amount of hours but as long as I keep winning overall I am cool with it.

-The BPT event #6 went well at the begginning but as the tournament progressed I just got cold decked. I don't like Prima software and it isn't an enjoyable experience playing on their software. I belive I placed 50 out of 90.

4/5 Did well

I had a good day. I only played for about 3 hrs. I played 2 $5 SNG and a $25NL cash game on Pokerstars

$5 #1 I went out in fourth on this one. Don't remeber the specs but I was short stacked when we hit the bubble.

$5 #2 I Placed second in this one. When we got heads up I was ripping this guy to shreeds. I had a 2-1 chip lead until this hand. I get AQ raise 5 times BB. He calls. Flop Qxx. I push all in he calles. He turns over Q10. The river is a ten. Now we are even. A few minutes later I get AK Raise 5 times BB. He calles Flop Kxx. I push all in he calls and flips over K10. The freaking river is a ten and I finish in second. Not much I can do about that but dang talk about suckouts.

$25NL. I did well in this also finishing at $75. Played tight and people were paying off my good hands.

Overall I ended my day up ~55.

4/4 SNG Review

I moved my money to pokerstars. I played in 3 $5 SNG's today.

#1 I played extremely tight. I just waited for a big hand and doubled up. When we got down to 4 players I had the chip lead. I went on to take 1st in this one.

#2 I played tight in this one also. This one was very fast paced. Everyone was playing very aggressive. We were down to 3 players when the blinds were still at 25/50. I made an attempt to take out the shortstack with A10h. He pushed all in with 77. A 7 hit on the flop. A couple hands later I get AK. I bet hard the same guy pushes all in - he has AA. Leaving me short stacked. I placed 3rd in this one.

#3 I played Tight but not as tight as the other two. I had to lossen up when we still had 7 people left with the blinds at 100/200. I gained chip lead. I dominated the rest of this tourny and took 1st.

So for the day I am up $37.5

4/3 Review

I got an email from Royal Vegas Poker staying I still had $17 in my account. I went to check it out and I did for sure. I played 2 $5 SNG placed 3rd in both raising my total to 26. That was enough to cash out and so I did and added it to my BPT traveling Bankroll.

My money was finally released from ViPPoker today. I now have to wait for the money from Royal Vegas to clear though.

So overall for the day I am up 9 but actally I am up 26 if you get my drift.

Overview 4/2

I played in a few 5 dollarMT tounry's. I didn't make the money on any of them. I won't tell you the stories of my "Bad Beats" because they are simular to every other runner runner story you hear. I did manage to place 2nd in a $10 SNG. So overall I am up 10 for the day. I also withdrew my money from VIP poker and am still waiting (24hrs +) for them to approve it. I will be depositing it into pokerstars next.

The next BPT toury is scheduled for Thursday at Pokerstars. I am sure my wife will have to play in this one for me until I can get onto first shift.

Bluff Poker Tour Event # 4

Event #4 didn't go so well with me. I went out in the first hour when in a raised pot my 88 ran into a 7 7 4 flop. The caller had 7 3 o. I still havn't cashed in the tour but I feel I will very soon.

Tournament Overview 4/1

Other than the Blogger and Bluff events I just discribed I played in about 4 MTT tourny's.

-$5.oo buyin VIPPoker total of 29 - I placed fourth for $16.

-$5.oo buyin VIPPoker total of 40 - This one pissed me off. Top five pay, six players blinds 600/1200, I get A8 in the BB. Four to the flop- A 8 9 , I push the rest of my stack (over 5k) into the 5k pot. Get one caller with AK. The turn blank but the river a 9. I lose that pot, and bubble.

$2.oo buyin VIPPoker total of ~60. This one pissed me off also. Down to eight players I have an average stack of 10k. The blinds are 400/800. I get KQ in lat position I raise to 1600. Get one caller outside the blinds. The flop comes K 7 7. I bet the pot, he pushes all in, I call. He has KJ. The turn is of course a J and instead of doubling to the chip leader I am out in 8th and only cash for $5.00

Blogger Poker Tour Event # 2

I played in this event today although I missed the first hour due to going out of town with my wife. When I returned to the game I made a quick double up. I went out in 26th out of ~60. I cannot remember how I lost this one.

Bluff Poker Tour Event # 3

Placed 103 I believe out of ~250. My wife played this one for me since I had to work again.
