11/28/08 - ON HOLD

I have to cash out my money due to a tight financial situation I am in . My hours were cut and I have some bills that just have to get paid. I cashed out 150 leaving me with like 45 in my account. I am going to keep playing but I am putting a hold on my goals until I can get back on my feet. Near the end of December I should be able to put about 600 in and then actually have a decent roll to start with.

I made a change today and played full ring instead of 6-max and I guess that was a mistake. I need to just stick what is winning right now. That is 6-max cash games right now. I won 2 10$ HU and still come out -40. Just bad luck though two big hands both hit sets and don't hold.

Well I didn't play any cash today. I played only MTT's. I am going to stay away from MTT's for a while due to there variance. My main downfall was the $3 rebuy. I put like 27 dollars in that thing i always found myslef on the bad end of a hand. So if finish the day down a good amount but I will rebound with cashgames.

Put in a decent session today. I played cash games for about 2 hours today 4 tabled. I am running ok on cash for the limit I am at. Hope to keep this up.

Today started out bad. I am just running bad on Heads-up play. I managed to win it back on cash games today to make a profit. I am going to splash around a little more and diverse myself a little more. I think I get burnt out or get stuck in a rut by playing the same thing too much. The cash game was a good moral booster for me and was a good change of pace.

Had some pretty bad beats.. Pretty ugly day for me. I played for about 4 hours. Played alot of $10 Hu matches. Today just sucked.

put in about 7 hours today. It was up and down day. I started to play some heads up SNG today and was pretty successful with that. My hourly rate blows, but until I get the bankroll up larger I will just have to grind.

Ok so not a bad start. I put in 9.3 hours of poker today. I played alot of SNG's around the $5 level. Actually 52 to be exact. I managed to pull out 55.4 profit for the day. Not too bad for my first day back. I hope to increase my daily profit here in the next couple days.

Back Again

Wow, It has been a while. I haven't really played much poker in while. I play off and on every once and a while but other than that I haven't really played much at all. WELL THAT IS OVER. I have tried to live the non poker life and I just don't like it. Something about poker that excites me and keeps me coming back. I have tried many times to be serious about poker but every time I seem to overplay my bankroll and not follow my my own guidelines. I believe that is because I set time tables for the time it should take me to get to a certain amount in my bankroll instead of just letting it get there naturally. The passing of the online poker bill really put a damper on online poker and that really sucks. Alot of really good friends of mine I have lost touch with simply because they no longer get on and play and blog. Well I am back on and ready to set some goals and meet them. This time I will be more serious than ever about it. My current goal is my race to 1k. I am confident I can get there fast. The only difference this time is I am not setting a time limit. I will get there naturally. I am sure nobody is going to read this blog but my only intention of this blog is to keep myself in check. I will post my results every time I play on here.
